Programmes Structure and Approach

All programmes are designed and delivered to meet the client needs:

 
Specific for the individuals, teams and the organisation.
Focused on meeting the commercial aims of the business using real challenges, projects and examples.
Challenge thinking, producing high energy and motivation to plan, act and get results.
Encourage everyone to release their potential and add value to themselves their teams and the organisation.
Use innovative methods and techniques with strategies to accelerate the learning for the desired changes.
 
  Programmes follow a modular approach.  
 
Delegates live the learning, with time and space between the modules to get results through practice.
Modules are delivered at two to six weekly intervals depending on the subject and aims.
The length and number of modules relates to the client aims and style of delivery required.
Personal coaching sessions are sometimes provided for individuals between modules.
Measurement and progress review sessions are also build into the process to sustain focus and application.
A full learning evaluation is completed following the delivery of all the modules to provide comprehensive feedback on the whole delivery process.
 
  Our Programmes have a number of proven frameworks around which we devise and deliver the learning approaches to meet the specific needs.  
  Example Framework Foundation Programme:  
 
  Stage 1 is the brief for the project / aims.
  Stage 2 is a survey based on the guidelines provided and focussed on the performance / business opportunities.
  Stage 3 is the facilitation of the strategy with the lead team.
  Stage 4 is the facilitation of the operational internal leadership teams.
  Stage 5 is the delivery of the programme.
    An Example Modular Approach.
Theme is agreed. i.e. Building a High Performance Culture.
   
Module 1   Focused on leadership styles, approaches/skills, personal communication skills, responsibility and accountability, successful influencing.
(Followed by a 4 week gap to apply the learning.)
Module 2   Focuses on performance coaching of teams and individuals. This means people you work with, work for and people you lead. This includes customer and suppliers, everyone you need to perform to get you the results you want.
(4 week interval)
Module 3   Focuses on high performance teamwork. How to empower and motivate to achieve commitment and build belief. How to measure and manage continuous improvement for sustainable change.
(4 week interval)
Modules 4 & 5   These are all about developing coaches and facilitators as a resource to sustain ongoing improved performance and learning in the business. Delegates and facilitators tools and techniques with kits for practical application in many aspects.
(Spread over 4-6 weeks)
 
  Example Programme for Developing High Performance Coaches and Facilitators:
(This is advanced for those with experience.)
 
 
  Stage 1 is the brief and can be a senior management facilitation project, top team.
  Stage 2 is the definition of the roles required for the projects/exercises.
  Stage 3 is to facilitate the plan with the key delegates.
  Stage 4 normally contains 2 – 3 two day modulas which focus on key facilitation and coaching skills essential to empower the changes and standards specified. The learning in these modules is aligned with actual assignments, projects and specific tasks for achieving goals/results. Measures are built in and also individual feedback of coaching sessions to consolidate the learning.
   
Full guidelines, learning kits and materials which include many examples of sessions and case studies to use.
A facilitation coaching manual is also provided, containing frameworks, processes and tools/techniques for use at a variety of levels and with different numbers of delegates.

Unique Approaches to Problem Solution and Decision Making

We have a number of programmes to address this key area. In addition to a range of continuous improvement techniques and tools for all areas of business is a suite of visual thinking tools to address challenges.

  Innovation Challenges  
 
1. These may be individual or team issues.
Programmes are tailored for the organisation.
They can be half day, one day or longer sessions, in some situations built in to other main programmes.
2. The Innovation Challenge is a board business game is used as the basis for team problem solving exercises.
Real problems and issues are identified at the start and the outcomes and results targeted. This makes the exercise real and deliver change and value.
3. Programmes are also designed and run for developing facilitators and coaches who are then equipped to organise and deliver their own approach inside the organisation.
 
  Results Focused Planning  
 
There are modules for time organisation, self managing time, delegation and results focused planning.
Results Focused Planning contains sessions for:
Developing a vision personal and business.
Developing/reviewing values for the individual, teams and the organisation.
Advising on internal planning systems.
Kits are also available for use with sales forces, marketing business, they vary in size and capacity.
 
  High Performance Teamwork  
 
Programmes are researched planned and organised to meet specific team challenges for pay-off in the business.
They are organised using outdoor facilities/connections/venues.
These include using sailing yachts as vehicles to support leading change programmes.
Programmes are 3-5 days depending on the size of the team build needed.
 
  Motivation and Peak Performance Sessions
These sessions develop the vitality and energy you and the team need to passionately follow through on new challenges - to develop performance. The programme can be tailored for any teams that need to achieve better results - consistently and on demand - and that want to live in a new zone.
