Case History

How Buffin Learning helped a major construction company avoid a substantial loss.

A global industrial conglomerate needed to re-work a major product that had to be completed and shipped out to customers before the end of a financial quarter. The penalty for not doing so would have meant a £6m shortfall on the quarter.

Buffin Learning high performance collaborative skills coaching was used to great effect to create powerful communication and commitment between the key departments, without whose cooperation and teamwork the task would not have been achieved.

The programme involved manufacturing engineering, production, transport, sales administration, other business units and several outside suppliers and agencies.

Without effective teamwork the 240 units would not have been repaired and overhauled and shipped out to customers. The penalty would not just have been a significant financial loss, but lost customers.
